Babies are great, but not if you aren't ready for them. That's where comes in. It's an initiative by The National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unwanted Pregnancy aimed at college campuses around the US. lookthinkmake was tapped to launch the program in the Austin market. We created posters, stickers, print ads, stencils, pedicab ads, a photobooth with props, and branded an ice cream truck to give away free condoms and birth control information.
Since IDEO did the initial branding for the initiative, I was charged with adapting their style to the Austin market along with the campaign that my co-workers at lookthinkmake and I created: For Best Laid Plans. I was key in creating many of the illustrations and layouts for the campaign, as well as helping to write a few of the lines. Who could resist? We also worked with Powerhouse Animation Studio on a promotional video for the campaign (for which I did the storyboarding and art directed).
